Stradbally Family Fair

This year’s Stradbally Family Fair & National Hound Show takes place on the first Sunday in July in the grounds of Stradbally Hall in Co. Laois. Come along and enjoy this equine and country pursuit showcase, featuring: Irish Draughts, Side Saddle, Racehorse to Riding Horse, hunter classes, hack, riding horse and cob classes, pony classes, Pony Club Games, Pony Club Musical Ride, Working Hunter, Archery on Horseback, Western Display, Derby Competition, Puissance, Hunt Chase, Endurance Riding & National Showing of Foxhounds, beagles and harriers. 

There is also a delicious selection of food stalls, interesting trade stands, fun fairground attractions for kids, plus the popular novelty dog show with bags of sweets for all entries. Classes include ‘dog agility’, ‘dog with the waggiest tail’, ‘dog with the cleverest trick’ and ‘best biscuit catcher!’
